Unpuzzling Spirituality: An Introduction to Spiritual Thoughts to Create a Big, Happy, Peaceful, and Loving Life (Ages 9 and up) has been called a “children’s book on spirituality for adults.” So, what is up with that?

When we started the journey of writing this book the authors could not find suitable books that introduced the basic concepts of spirituality to kids, so they began writing with the purpose of creating a book about spirituality that kids could understand. But kid’s understanding starts with the adults.

But… how many adults have taken apart the puzzle of spirituality to examine and understand each piece? As adults, we need to be prepared to guide them. So while Unpuzzling Spirituality serves to be a primer for kids to learn about spirituality, so does it serve to help adults better understand, question, and grow their own spiritual beliefs in ways that allow them to help guide and explain things to kids.

In the book, we are providing thoughts on spirituality in a way for kids to understand, but we anticipate adults actually reading it more than kids. This may seem convoluted, but questions about life and spirituality are questions that come up in the moment. If, as adults, we have taken the time to pre-think our beliefs and thoughts, we can then lead by example with our actions, and/or communicate those thoughts with kids in ways they will understand. (Or, we can grab this book and read the appropriate parts with them.)

So, this book could be considered a children’s book for adults, that works for kids too.

This book can serve as a great introduction to spiritual thoughts for both young AND old.

Incredible! You take these difficult concepts and break them down so simply... I wish I had this book growing up....

You’ve made the topic of spirituality, which is SO complicated - accessible to the general public. I can think of so many friends that I want to get this for because they are already spiritual and would love this to discuss with their kids. And more importantly, I have a few friends that are living so unconsciously and I think this will be the perfect intro to the idea of spirituality for them (disguised as a book for their kids).
