Although the thoughts on this site are all a reflection of “Unpuzzling Spirituality: An Introduction to Spiritual Thoughts to Create a Big, Happy, Peaceful, and Loving Life (Ages 9 and up),” the copy below is cut and paste from our book, with slight alterations so it makes sense outside of the entire body of work.

Acts of LOVE vs. acts of fear

When we really think about it, our actions can be sorted into two kinds of actions:

1. Acts of Love

2. Acts of Fear

The choice to act out of fear or love stems from what beliefs you are tuned into (because your actions are a result of your thoughts and beliefs).

Acts of Love – When you believe that you are part of ∞ and connected to all, you will think and act with love. You will know that you affect others and they affect you. Acts of love work to create solutions where everyone involved “wins.”

Acts of Fear –If you feel separate from others, you might choose actions out of an imagined fear for your individual survival or your self-image. The result will be decisions that are self-serving and that will continue to create feelings of being isolated from others.

Fear is often motivated by a need for approval, security, or to feel in control. Acts of fear tend to create solutions where one person appears to win and another loses. Ultimately, acts of fear can create a situation where everyone loses.

When you better understand what creates, encourages, and identifies these two actions, you will be better able to align your actions with ∞, be the person you want to be, and create the life you would like to have.

FYI, we will explore this much more in the book…

What is spirituality? How does spirituality relate to my life? How do I develop spiritual beliefs? How can I use my spiritual beliefs in my every day life? What is death? Understanding your spirituality can feel like you are putting together a puzzle without a picture to guide you. Unpuzzling Spirituality invites the reader to explore answers to these questions and more. It helps the reader to put the pieces of the puzzle together to create a big, happy, peaceful, purposeful, and loving life.

Exploring your spirituality is a journey that can help you to figure out who you are, who you can be, and how you can understand and make a difference in the world around you.
